# Welcome to C3 Esports

> Everything you need to know about competing in C3 Esports collegiate Rocket League.

C3 Esports is a collegiate Rocket League league platform built for college students to compete, track standings, and grow as players. This documentation covers everything you need — whether you're a first-time player, a team manager running a roster, or staff managing a season.

## Who is this for?

## How the league works

1. **Register** — Create an account and verify your college email (`.edu` address).
2. **Join a team** — A team manager adds you to their roster, or you create your own team.
3. **Register for a season** — Your team manager registers your team for the active season and division.
4. **Play matches** — Log in, check in to your scheduled match, play, and submit the result.
5. **Climb the standings** — Win matches to earn points and climb your division's standings.
6. **Playoffs** — Top teams from each division advance to a playoff bracket at the end of the season.

## Divisions

The league runs three divisions each season, organized by skill level:

| Division | Level |
| - | - |
| **Premier** | Top-tier competitive play |
| **Challengers** | Mid-level competition |
| **Contenders** | Lower-level competition |

Your team manager chooses which division to register for at the start of each season.
