The bracket management system is not yet implemented in the current version of C3 Esports. This page is a placeholder describing the planned feature. Playoff scheduling is currently handled manually by staff.

Current playoff process (manual)

Until the bracket system is available, staff manage playoff scheduling manually:
  1. At the end of the regular season, staff pull the final standings from each division.
  2. Staff create playoff match records manually via the Match Management panel.
  3. Bracket pairings follow standard seeding: seed 1 vs. seed 8, seed 2 vs. seed 7, etc. (or the number of teams that qualify from each division).
  4. Winners advance and staff create the next round’s matches.
  5. Standings and results are tracked the same way as regular season matches.
If you are a team in playoffs right now, you do not need to do anything differently. The playoff match will appear in your match schedule and the check-in, result submission, and replay upload process is identical to the regular season.

Planned bracket features

When bracket management is implemented, it will include:

Auto-seeding

Automatically seed teams from final standings into the bracket with one click.

Interactive bracket view

A visual bracket diagram visible to players, staff, and spectators at the season page.

Auto-advancement

When a playoff match result is confirmed, the winner automatically advances to the next round’s match slot.

Third-place match support

Optional third-place (consolation) match scheduling for divisions that award it.

Timeline

No release date has been set for bracket management. Follow announcements in the C3 Esports Discord for updates. Staff members interested in contributing to this feature should reach out to the development team.
