The match management panel gives staff visibility into every match in the system — past, present, and future. You can take corrective action on any match: override incorrect scores, mark forfeits, or reschedule.

Accessing match management

Go to c3esports.com/admin/matches. The default view shows all matches for the current season, sorted by scheduled time.

Filtering matches

Use the filters to narrow the list:

Match detail view

Clicking on any match opens the detail view, which shows:
  • Both team names, division, week, and scheduled time
  • Check-in status for both teams
  • Submitted result (if any) — game-by-game scores
  • Replay file status per game
  • Result confirmation status
  • Any open or resolved disputes
  • Staff action history for this match

Overriding a match result

Use result overrides to correct a score that was submitted incorrectly and has already been confirmed, or when a dispute resolution requires a score change.
1

Open the match detail page

Navigate to the match via the match list or by searching for a team.
2

Click Override Result

In the Staff Actions section, click Override Result.
Result overrides are permanent and logged with your username. Always provide a detailed reason — this appears in the audit log and may be referenced if the decision is later questioned.
3

Enter the correct scores

Fill in the corrected game-by-game scores. The series winner is calculated automatically based on the scores you enter.
4

Enter a reason

Write a clear reason for the override. Include: the issue that was found, what evidence you reviewed, and the corrected result. Example:
“Result overridden following dispute #142. Submitted score of 3-2 was incorrect — replay parsing confirmed actual score was 4-1. Updating to reflect the correct result per replay evidence.”
5

Confirm

Click Confirm Override. Standings update on the next standings recalculation (or trigger it manually via Cron Jobs).

Marking a forfeit

If a team no-showed and the forfeit was not recorded automatically, or if a team needs to forfeit for another reason:
  1. Open the match detail page.
  2. Click Mark Forfeit in the Staff Actions section.
  3. Select which team is forfeiting.
  4. Enter a reason (e.g., “Team A failed to check in. Match time: 8:00 PM ET. No contact from manager.”).
  5. Confirm.
The match is recorded as a 3-0 win for the non-forfeiting team. No replay files are required.
If both teams failed to check in, you can declare a double forfeit — both teams receive a loss (0 points). This is rare but may apply in cases of mutual abandonment.

Rescheduling a match

To reschedule a match to a different date or time:
1

Confirm both teams agree

Rescheduling should only happen when both managers have agreed to the new time. Check your Discord staff channel for the reschedule request from both managers.
2

Open the match and click Reschedule

In the Staff Actions section of the match detail page, click Reschedule Match.
3

Set the new date and time

Enter the new scheduled start time (Eastern Time). The match status resets to SCHEDULED with the new time.
4

Enter a reason and notify

Document the reason (e.g., “Both managers agreed to reschedule from Tue 8pm to Thu 9pm. See Discord thread #link.”). Both teams receive a notification automatically.
After rescheduling, confirm in the Discord reschedule request thread that the change has been made. Managers and players watch that channel for confirmation.

Cancelling a match

Use Cancel Match when a match will not be played and no result should be recorded (e.g., both teams are disqualified, or a scheduling error created a duplicate match).
Cancelling a match is different from a forfeit — it does not award a win to either team and has no impact on standings. Only cancel when neither team should receive a result.
