Being a manager is a commitment. If you go inactive during a season, your team may forfeit matches. Make sure you are prepared to be available on match days.
Manager responsibilities
Create and configure your team
Set your team’s name, tag, logo, and description. Share your invite code with players.
Register for a season
During the registration window, submit your team for the upcoming season and select a division.
Build and manage your roster
Add and remove players. Ensure everyone meets eligibility requirements before match day.
Verify roster eligibility
Every player must have a verified .edu email and a linked Discord account to compete.
Submit match results
After each match, submit game-by-game scores and upload replay files for each game.
File disputes
If a score is wrong or a rule was violated, file a formal dispute from the match page.
Manage team settings
Update team info, transfer the manager role, or disband the team.
How to become a manager
Any registered C3 Esports user can create a team and become its manager — just navigate to c3esports.com/teams/create. You can also become a manager if an existing manager transfers the role to you. See Team Settings for details.Manager vs. player permissions
