After your match ends, the result needs to be submitted to the platform so standings can update. This is the manager’s job, but every player should understand how it works so you can support the process and flag problems quickly.
Only your team manager can submit or confirm results. If you are a player and something is wrong with a result, tell your manager immediately — do not wait.

The result submission process (overview)

1

Play your match

Both teams play the series according to the Match Rules.
2

Manager submits the result

After the series ends, one manager (from either team) goes to the match page and submits game-by-game scores plus replay files.
3

Opposing manager confirms

The other team’s manager reviews the submitted scores and either confirms or disputes within 24 hours.
4

Result is recorded

Once confirmed (or after 24 hours with no action), standings update automatically.

Deadlines

Results must be submitted within 2 hours of match completion. Replay files must be uploaded within the same window. Do not go to sleep and submit in the morning — the deadline is strict.

For players: what to do after a match

You may not be able to submit results yourself, but you play a critical role in supporting the process:
  1. Save your replay files. Do not close Rocket League until you know the match is over and replays are saved. See Uploading Replays for where to find them.
  2. Screenshot the final scoreboard. Take a screenshot at the end of each game. This is your backup evidence if there is a dispute.
  3. Tell your manager the score immediately. Do not assume they were watching every game. Send them the score after each game in the series.
  4. Send your replay files to your manager. Your manager needs to upload the replays. If they are not the one who played, they need you to send the files. Have a way to share files quickly (Discord, Google Drive, etc.).
Create a short post-match routine: screenshot scoreboard → note the score → find and copy the replay file → DM your manager. Takes 2 minutes and prevents a lot of headaches.

Auto-confirmation explained

If the opposing team does not confirm or dispute within 24 hours, the result auto-confirms. This is intentional — it prevents teams from stalling to avoid a recorded loss. If you submitted the result and are waiting for confirmation, you do not need to do anything. Just make sure you submitted with accurate scores and replay files. If you are the opposing team and you see a result you want to dispute, act quickly — the 24-hour window can pass faster than you think.

What happens when the result is confirmed

After confirmation (manual or auto):
  • The match status changes to Completed
  • Standings points are added: 3 pts for the winning team, 0 pts for the losing team, 1 pt each for a draw (if applicable)
  • Player stats from uploaded replays are processed and displayed on the match page
  • The match becomes part of the official season record

If the result is wrong

If a submitted result contains incorrect scores, the opposing manager should file a dispute before confirming. See Filing a Dispute (player guide) or Filing a Dispute (manager guide) for the full process. Once a result is confirmed — even via auto-confirm — it can only be changed by staff through a formal dispute process.
